Ratings: Charlie's Angels loses viewers

Charlie's AngelsABC’s revived and rebooted Charlie’s Angels lost viewers last night while NBC’s remake of Prime Suspect continued to struggle for ratings.

The second episode of Charlie’s Angels on ABC lost viewers from last week’s premier. The revived and rebooted detective series pulled in 8.7 million viewers for its premier last week. This week it’s ratings tumbled down by quite a bit according to early figures as only 7.1 million viewers returned. If ratings keep tumbling like that Charlie’s Angels will be heading straight for cancellation but its early days and things could yet improve.

Over on NBC and police drama Prime Suspect looks set to be heading for cancellation. The series is a remake of the critically acclaimed and award winning British series which starred Helen Mirren and aired on ITV. Last week’s opening episode was seen by 6 million viewers while this week’s episode only managed to attract 5.5 million viewers. Prime Suspect is certainly a drama on the “at risk” list.
