Ron Calivati to remain with One Life to Live
Ron Calivati has signed a deal to remain with soap One Life to Live as head writer and consulting producer.
Calivati has signed a deal with Prospect Park to remain with the daytime soap when it moves from ABC to The Online Network in January – where sibling series All My Children will also air. Frank Valenti has already signed a deal to remain as executive producer for One Life to Live and will also be vice president of drama serials for Prospect Park on The Online Network.
Actors Ted King, Michael Eason, Kassie DePaiva, Sean Ringgold, and Erika Slezak have all signed deals to remain on the soap while reports state that Melissa Archer, Kelley Missal, Andrew Trischitta and Jerry VerDorn are also set to remain on One Life to Live as well.
So far there have been more signings for One Life to Live – with cast and crew opting to remain – than for fellow series All My Children which ended its television run last Friday. A big question mark remains over the future of actress Susan Lucci who is the last remaining original cast member on AMC. Talks are said to be continuing between Lucci and Prospect Park over the future of her character, Erica Kane.
