Glee ratings continue to fall

Chris Colfer{jcomments off}For a second week in a row ratings for Fox’s Glee dropped while The CW’s Ringer, starring Michelle Gellar, also lost ratings.

The third episode in the latest series of Glee, Asian F, once again saw a drop in ratings. However, the drop in ratings was only small and the musical comedy is still above the 8 million mark. According to early ratings date Glee pulled in 8.3 million viewers with a 3.5 18-49 rating. New Girl continued to rate well for Fox – the series has been given a full season order by the broadcaster – as its latest episode pulled in 8.6 million viewers with a 4.3 18-49 rating.

Once again, and unsurprisingly, it was NCIS which was the big puller of the night with 18.8 million viewers, that’s a 4.1 18-49 demo. Spin-off series NCIS: LA also had big numbers with 14.6 million viewers and a 2.4 18-49 rating – that’s down somewhat on last week’s figures though. ABC’s Body of Proof, starring Dana Delany, saw its figures up on last week with 10.2 million viewers and a 2.1 rating in the 18-49 demo.

Elsewhere Sarah Michelle Gellar’s new drama Ringer, on The CW, lost viewers with 1.4 million viewers compared with 2 million viewers for last week. Teen-drama 90210 was also down on last week with 1.3 million viewers compared with 1.7 million for last week.
