Two and a Half Men ratings continue to decline
Two and a Half Men’s ratings continued to drop last night losing 2 million viewers from last week.
The CBS comedy continued to lose viewers as its ninth season airs on the channel – but its audience levels still remain strong. However, it could be a sign that audiences haven’t taken to Charlie Sheen’s replacement Ashton Kutcher. However, ratings for the majority of programmes were down last night because of sport action so Two and a Half Men’s ratings were most likely influenced by that. The fourth episode, Nine Magic Fingers, had 15.9 million viewers according to overnight figures.
Overrunning sporting action on Fox means ratings for its Monday evening line-up are still a bit patchy and down on last week. Early figures suggest House had 5.8 million viewers while Steven Spielberg series Terra Nova had 6.8 million viewers. ABC’s Dancing with the Stars had a strong 17 million viewers while drama Castle had 11.2 million viewers. Over on The CW veteran drama Gossip Girl had 1.3 million viewers while Hart of Dixie had 1.5 million viewers.
