Fringe ratings remain low

FringeFox’s cult drama Fringe continued to struggle on Friday evening with ratings as it dropped once more.

It’s like a yoyo with Fringe’s ratings; up, down, up, down -although they never rise by much. The drama starring John Noble and Anna Trov posted ratings last week that tie with the low of several weeks ago – it’s not a good sign for the series. Yet it escaped cancellation at the end of its third series and was surprisingly renewed for its current fourth season so ratings don’t hugely matter but they certainly do help. Last night’s episode had 3.1 million viewers with a 1.2 18-49 demo.

Elsewhere last night Nikita had 1.7 million viewers while fellow CW drama Supernatural had 1.6 million viewers – more or less the same as last week. Over on CBS CSI: NY had 10 million viewers, Blue Bloods had 10.9 million viewers and A Gifted Man, supernatural medical drama, had 7.8 million viewers.
