The group were originally formed in 1997 and consisted off Lee Latchford Evans, Claire Richards, Lisa Scott-Lee, Faye Tozer and Ian ‘H’ Watkins. The group were hailed, by some, as an ‘Abba for the 1990s’ and Steps even released a tribute to the Swedish pop group.

During the five years the group were together they had two UK number one singles and 2 number one albums in the UK with 14 other singles reaching the top five in the UK charts – they were also popular across Europe. The group broke up in late 2001 following the departure of two members. They are the latest UK group to reform following in the footsteps of Take That and All Saints.
