As The World Turns out on DVD

 Fans of American soap opera ATWT will be able to enjoy ‘iconic moments’ via a CBS DVD release of the defunct serial.

Former CBS soap As The World Turns is out now on DVD for the first time as 20 episodes full of memorable moments are set to be released.

As The World Turns came to an end last September on CBS after an incredible 54 year run but there’s still life in the soap as it is set to have episodes released on DVD for the first time – allowing fans to enjoy their favourite moments once again.

According to reports 20 episodes of classic moments are set to be released – weddings, secrets and scandals are all heading to DVD.

The episodes include As The World Turns 30th, 40th and 50th anniversary shows, the coming out of Luke in 2006 (which later saw the hugely popular ‘Nuke’ story develop) and the wedding of Tom Hughes and Margo Montgomery.

Disc One is comprises of Great Weddings,  Disc Two is Secrets and Scandals, Disc Three is Oakdale Through the Years and the fourth disc Villains and Vixens.

The DVD is on sale now.
