Mitch Pileggi joins Dallas

X Files actor Mitch Pileggi is joining the cast of TNT’s Dallas.

{jcomments off}Entertainment Weekly reports that  Pileggi will play Harris Ryland in a multi-episode stint on TNT’s revived Dallas. The character is the owner of Ryland Trucking and Shipping and just happens to be the ex husband of Ann Ewing (Brenda Strong) – Bobby’s (Patrick Duffy) new wife.  Mitch Pileggi is probably best known for his role of FBI Assistant Director Walter Skinner on Fox’s cult drama the X Files.

It was recently revealed that original series actor Ken Kercheval would reprise his role of Cliff Barnes for at least three episodes of the new series. It was also recently announced that ctor Larry Hagman, who plays scheming J.R Ewing, has been diagnosed with cancer but still intends to reprise his role for the new series.
