Big Brother: Anton Murphy evicted

Anton has been evicted from the Big Brother house.

He faced the public vote against Jay, Jem and Harry but failed to gain enough votes to be saved. On Monday, Anton and Jay received the most nominations but a twist seen them later choosing one housemate each to join them on the chopping block. Anton chose Jem, with Jay choosing Harry.

Many fans, including the housemates, had resigned themselves to the fact that Jem would be going because she

has only been in the house for two weeks. Speaking to Brian Dowling once evicted, Anton defended the accusations of being ‘sexist’: “Some of my jokes can be crude but all guys are pretty much the same. I have manners for women, I respect women.”

His main rival in the house was Aaron, who he had vowed to see evicted before himself. During the interview he conceded that Aaron had ‘won’. “He’s really intelligent. He’s a massive game player and is obsessed with Big Brother. He knows (the show) inside and out. At the end of the day he beat me.”

Big Brother continues nightly on Channel 5.
