Doctor Who Christmas Special Preview for Children in Need

This year’s Children in Need telethon will once again feature a preview for this year’s Doctor Who Christmas Special.

{jcomments on}A special preview for this year’s Christmas Special will air during the Children in Need marathon this year. Previous years have either featured previews for the Christmas Special (such as The Next Doctor) or mini scenes specially written – such as Time Crash.

The BBC sci-fi has a long association with the charity telethon stretching right back to the original series though perhaps most fans would like to forget the 1993 Doctor Who special Dimensions in Time which featured a crossover with EastEnders. The special, for Children in Need, was to mark Doctor Who’s 30th anniversary but er isn’t highly regarded by fans of either Doctor Who or EastEnders.
