X Factor: Kelly Rowland calls in to save Misha Bryan

Sophie Habibis has been eliminated from the competition after the judges chose to save Misha Bryan.

Misha and Sophie ended up in the bottom two after failing to gain enough public votes. When it came to the judges voting to send home one of the acts, Tulisa Contostavlos and Louis Walsh both chose Sophie. Kelly Rowland was on the phone from Los Angeles. She decided to save Misha Bryan, therefore with three votes Sophie was eliminated.

On Saturday the contestants performed songs loosely related to this weekend’s Halloween theme. Singing ‘Bang Bang (Shot You Down)’, she was praised for her vocal performance but Louis Walsh was critical insisting that “something was missing”. He went on to say “It’s like you’re a secretary that sings at the weekend or something”.

This week has seen the show dominating the tabloids for a number of different reasons. There were claims that Kelly Rowland and Tulisa Contostavlos are not speaking to each other following their on-air disagreements last weekend. Kelly pulled out of this weekends shows after falling ill while in Los Angeles. This added fuel to the fire that she was thinking of quitting the show.
