NCIS continues to deliver big ratings

GleeNCIS continued to deliver big ratings to CBS last night but it was a different story for Glee (pictured right). The musical comedy was once a smash hit but it seems times have changed as ratings remained low last night.

At 8pm last night CBS was the winner of the hour in terms of 18-49 viewers and total viewers with NCIS pulling in 20 million with a 4.1 rating. Glee on Fox presented its controversial The First Time episode which saw gay couple Blaine (Darren Criss) and Kurt (Chris Colfer) sleep together for the first time – prompting outrage from the Parents Television Council as you may well have expected. The episode itself had 6.9 million viewers with a 3.1 18-49 rating – up on last week but still nowhere near the height the series once enjoyed. ABC’s Last Man Standing had 9.2 million viewers and a 2.6 rating followed by Man Up! with 6.2 million viewers overall and a 1.7 18-49 rating. Teen drama 90210 continued on The CW with 1.5 million viewers and a 0.8 rating.

At 9pm The New Girl had 6.8 million viewers and a 3.5 18-49 rating for Fox followed by Raising Hope with 4.6 million viewers and a 2.1 rating. NCIS: Los Angeles on CBS had 15 million viewers and a 3.4 18-49 rating. The Dancing with the Stars results show on ABC was seen by 14 million viewers and had a 2.7 18-49 rating while Sarah Michelle Gellar drama Ringer had 1.6 million viewers and a 0.7 18-49 rating.{jcomments off}
