Elisabeth Sladen’s Autobiography to be launched at the Doctor Who Experience

In a one-off event later this month, at the Doctor Who Experience, family and colleagues of the late Elisabeth Sladen, who played Sarah Jane Smith in the sci-fi classic, will launch her autobiography.

 

In a one-off event later this month, at the Doctor Who Experience, family and colleagues of the late Elisabeth Sladen, who played Sarah Jane Smith in the sci-fi classic, will launch her autobiography.

Elisabeth, who died in April this year, had almost finished her much anticipated autobiography when she was suddenly diagnosed with cancer and lost the fight after a short battle against the disease. The publication has been completed with the help and full support of her husband and daughter.

To celebrate both publication of the book and the memory of Doctor Who’s much-loved actress publishers Aurum Press have teamed up with the Doctor Who Experience for a one-off celebration of the woman behind Sarah Jane.

“Elisabeth’s daughter, Sadie Miller, the 4th Doctor:Tom Baker, and Doctor Who writer and producer Terrance Dicks will be in conversation with TV Choice magazine’s Ben Lawrence, discussing the life and their memories of Elisabeth Sladen in the screening room at the Doctor Who Experience” the DWE say.

Elisabeth Sladen to millions of viewers will forever be Sarah Jane Smith of Doctor Who and sister show The Sarah Jane Adventures. She was consistently voted one of the Doctor’s favourite companions by fans.

Elisabeth Sladen: The Autobiography contains a foreword by David Tennant and is published by Aurum Press.
