Dannii Minogue for Britain’s Got Talent?
A Sunday tabloid claims that Dannii Minogue is set to join the judges panel on Britain’s Got Talent.
Bosses for the ITV talent contest are looking for two new judges after comedian Michael McIntyre quit and actor David Hasselhoff was reportedly dropped. Amanda Holden, the only original judge remaining, will return for the new series. Who’ll she will be joined by on the judges panel has been the subject of speculation for some time. The Sunday Mirror claims that Australian singer Dannii Minogue is being lined up as a new judge for the next series of Britain’s Got Talent alongside comedian David Walliams.
“Everybody is really excited about the new lineup,” a source said. “David was confirmed this week and the producers think it’s the best yet. He’s a real favourite with the nation and Dannii is hugely popular. It’s exciting for her to be coming back.” – A “source” speaking to The Sunday Mirror
Dannii Minogue was a judge on the X Factor until her departure following last year’s series. The Sunday Mirror claims that Minogue joining BGT is dependent on her schedule but is expected to sign a contract shortly. Cheryl Cole, who sat alongside Minogue as a judge on the X Factor, was an early favourite for Britain’s Got Talent but has reportedly ruled herself out of the running.
