Anita Dobson leaves Strictly Come Dancing

Former EastEnders actress Anita Dobson has become the 8th celebrity to be voted off Strictly Come Dancing.

The actress ended up in the bottom two with Australian actress and singer Holly Valance – who was also in the bottom two last week against Russell Grant. The judges opted once again to save Valance. Dobson was dancing with Brendan Cole after her regular partner, Robin Windsor, was forced to pull out. Dobson paid tribute to both Windsor and Cole.  

Dobson’s exit from the Strictly Come Dancing follows the exits of Edwina Currie, Dan Lobb, Rory Bremner, Nancy Dell’Olio, Lulu, Audley Harrison and Russell Grant. Still remaining in the competition is McFly’s Harry Judd, footballer Robbie Savage, Holly Valance, Jason Donovan, The One Show‘s Alex Jones and Waterloo Road‘s Chelsee Healey.
