Janet Devlin voted off the X Factor
Janet Devlin has become the latest act to be voted off the X Factor.
Devlin ended up in the bottom two with fellow Kelly Rowland act Misha B. Devlin was voted out after judges Louis Walsh and Tulisa Contostavlos both opted to save Misha B who they felt had more “potential” and was more likely to win the X Factor. Kelly Rowland was clearly torn between her acts and was pressed by presenter Dermot O’Leary into making a decision about which act to send home.
Kelly Rowland then stated ‘I really can’t make a decision. I love these girls, I don’t know what to do’ and declined to vote. There were boos from the audiences after Rowland declined to vote and O’Leary informed the judges and viewers that Janet Devlin would be leaving the competition.
With Devlin exiting the X Factor that leaves Misha B, Marcus Collins, Amelia Lily (who returned following Frankie Cocozza’s exit) and Little Mix still in the competition. Recently Little Mix have become the favourites to win the competition with last week’s evictee Craig Colton backing them and boy-band One Direction as well. If Little Mix were to win they would be the first group to do so as previous winners have all be solo singers.
