Misha Collins returning to Supernatural

Misha Collins will return to Supernatural later this season.

TVLine reports the actor will return to the hit CW drama for at least three episodes the news site reports. The actor will make his return to Supernatural in the 17th episode of the current series but interesting the site notes ‘not necessarily as fallen angel Castiel’. A hint that is sure to intrigue fans of the series.

“It has always been our intention to bring back Misha in some form,. We certainly can’t say too much about where the story is going to go, but we love Misha and want to continue to work with him.” – Sera Gamble, executive producer, quoted by TVLine

Supernatural aired its mid-season finale in American on Friday evening but will return on January 6th for the second half of its series – a shorter gap than some other CW shows such as The Vampire Diaries bowed out bowed out on November 10th with its mid-season finale Homecoming and will return on January 5th.
