Terra Nova loses ratings for penultimate episode

Terra NovaThe penultimate episode of Fox‘s dino-drama Terra Nova lost ratings last night while CBS‘ comedies once again dominated the evening.

The return of the Fear Factor to NBC proved a welcome boost for the broadcaster at 8pm with 8.7 million viewers and a 3.2 18-49 rating. It wasn’t enough to win the hour but it was a good rating none-the-less. The hour was won by 2 Broke Girls on CBS which had 12.4 million viewers and a 4.1 18-49 rating while a repeat at 8.30 had 10.2 million viewers and a 3.3 18-49 rating. The penultimate episode of Terra Nova on Fox saw its ratings decline continue with 6.9 million viewers and a 2.1 18-49 rating. The series will bow out next week in a double-bill and Fox will decide its fate next year, perhaps waiting to see how the season finale performs. A repeat of Hart of Dixie on The CW had 1.4 million viewers and a 0.4 18-49 rating.

At 9pm Two and a Half Men pulled in 14.7 million viewers with a 4.6 18-49 rating meaning it won the hour. Following at 8.30 on CBS was Mike and Molly with 13.8 million viewers and a 3.9 rating. The Fear Factor continued on NBC across the hour with 8.5 million viewers and a 3.5 rating. A repeat of medical drama House on Fox had 4.4 million viewers and a 1.4 rating while another repeat of Hart of Dixie had 1.3 million viewers and a slightly higher 0.5 rating.

Finally at 10pm detective drama Hawaii Five-O had 10.9 million viewers with a 2.8 rating while a repeat of Castle on ABC had 4.1 million viewers with a 1.0 18-49 rating.
