Finola Hughes returning to General Hospital

Finola Hughes is to return to ABC’s medical soap General Hospital.

The actress will reprise her role of jet-setting Anna Devane once more during February – for the all important sweeps. Her return to the ABC soap – which by that point will be the last remaining daytime serial on the broadcaster – will tie into the departure of her on-screen daughter Dr Robin Scorpio (Kimberly McCullough). TV Guide first reported the news will a spokesperson telling the magazine that Anna will be ‘very involved with Robin and Patrick’ during her time back in Port Charles. There are rumours that GH bosses are planning to kill off Robin, who is HIV positive.
