Harry Judd wins Strictly Come Dancing 2011

Harry Judd and his dancing partner Aliona Vilani have won Strictly Come Dancing.

The McFly drummer was crowned the Strictly king of 2011; winning the public vote. Jason Donovan and his partner Kristina Rihanoff finished in third place. Harry Judd and fellow contestant Chelsee Healey performed two more dancers following the exit of Donovan from the competition.

All three celebrities scored well with the judges with Harry Judd scoring top points for two out of his four dances. Judd was widely seen as the favourite to win the competition though the rising popularity of Waterloo Road actress Chelsee Healey, across the series, saw her emerge as a likely contender for the title as a serious rival for Judd.

When Judd was revealed as the winner of Strictly Come Dancing his McFly band-mates Dougie Poynter, Tom Fletcher and Danny Jones ran onto the dance-floor to congratulate him.
