Virgin Media to sponsor Britain’s Got Talent

Virgin Media is to sponsor Britain’s Got Talent from next year.

The multimillion-pound deal will see Virgin Media sponsor the main show, official website and multi-media content. They will also sponsor America’s Got Talent which airs on ITV 2. The deal is similar to that of TalkTalk, which sponsors X Factor and X Factor USA.

Last year Britain’s Got Talent was sponsored by MoneySupermarket.com website. This will be the first time that Virgin Media have sponsored a programme since Big Brother in 2007. Britain’s Got Talent, which features Amanda Holden (pictured) as a judges, is due back next spring on ITV 1.
