Ofcom to investigate Jeremy Clarkson comments
Broadcasting watchdog Ofcom are to investigate the BBC’s The One Show following comments made by Jeremy Clarkson.
Clarkson promoted hundreds of complaints to Ofcom following his comments late last month that public workers and their families should be shot for going on strike. His appearance on BBC One’s The One Show seen nearly 800 complain directly to Ofcom, with a further 30,000 complaining to the BBC itself. Ofcom have said they will reveal the outcome of their investigation in “due course”.
