Dancing on Ice hit by injuries
Several of the celebrities on Dancing on Ice have suffered injuries with Chesney Hawkes reportedly missing Sunday’s launch show.
A number of the celebrities on Dancing on Ice have suffered injuries and the ITV series hasn’t even officially launched yet. Yesterday ITV revealed the line-up for this year’s series which includes Jennifer Ellison, Charlene Tilton, Laila Morse, Andrew Whyment, Matthew Wolfende and Corey Feldman .
However, reports suggest that a number of the celebrity contestants have injured themselves ahead of Sunday’s launch show. The Sun reports that pop singer Chesney Hawkes is likely to miss the opening show on Sunday after hurting his leg while training on New Year’s Day. In fact there are some doubts over his participation in Dancing on Ice at all.
Other Dancing on Ice contestants reported to have suffered injuries include Sugababes’ Heidi Range and her dancing partner Sylvain Longchambon, Jennifer Ellison who is an early favourite to win and EastEnders’ actress Laila Morse. If the injuries continue at this rate ITV may well be looking for more celebrities to take to the ice as replacements. However, it should be pointed out that injuries are likely given the nature of the show.
