The Vampire Diaries ratings slip

Joseph MorganThe Vampire Diaries slipped in the ratings slightly on Thursday episode following its return last week.

The latest episode of the supernatural drama, Our Town, pulled in 2.8 million viewers with a 1.2 rating for The CW last night at 8pm. That compares with last week’s mid-season premier of 3.1 million viewers and a 1.4 18-49 rating. The Big Bang Theory had 15.9 million viewers for CBS with a whopping 5.2 18-49 rating followed by the season premier of Rob with 13.4 million viewers and 4.1 18-49 rating. The season premier of 30 Rock on NBC had 4.5 million viewers with a 1.8 18-49 rating followed by Parks and Recreation at 8.30pm with 4.1 million viewers and a 1.9 18-49 rating. Bones on Fox had 8.6 million viewers and a 2.4 rating while Wipeout on ABC had 7.1 million viewers and a 2.2 rating.

At 9pm The Secret Circle held steady on The CW with 2 million viewers and a 0.8 18-49 rating. Medical drama Grey’s Anatomy continued on ABC with 10.5 million viewers and a 3.8 rating while Person of Interest on CBS had 14.7 million viewers and a 3.2 rating. The Office on NBC pulled in 5.8 million viewers with a 2.9 rating followed by Up All Night with 4.2 million viewers and a 2.0 rating. The Finder on Fox launched with 5.4 million viewers and a 1.7 rating.

At 10pm The Mentalist on CBS had 13.4 million viewers with a 2.7 rating while The Firm on NBC continued to disappoint with 4.2 million viewers and a lowly 1.0 rating. Private Practice on ABC had 6.7 million viewers and a 2.4 rating.
