EastEnders attracted 9.1 million viewers last night as the Square said goodbye to Pat Evans.

EastEnders attracted 9.1 million viewers last night as the Square said goodbye to Pat Evans (Pam St Clement). The 40-minute special last night on BBC One also featured a special scene once the end credits had rolled. After 22 years away, Simon Wicks (Nick Berry, pictured) made a brief appearance at the graveyard to pay his respects to his late mother.

The episode also seen his on-screen brother David Wicks (Michael French) depart once again. David came back to Albert Square in time to speak to his mother just before she died on New Year’s Day.
