ABC pulls cross dressing comedy Work It from schedules

ABCABC has decided to pull its cross-dressing comedy Work It from the schedules.

The comedy was criticised by GLAAD, the Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation, before it had even aired as they felt it mocked the transgender community. The comedy revolved around two guys (Ben Koldyke and Amaury Nolasco) who decided to dress up as women in order to land themselves jobs.

So far just two episodes of Work It have aired but seemingly that is enough for ABC to conclude the comedy hasn’t work and will be pulled from the schedules; replaced by repeats of Last Man Standing. The main reason for the quick demise of Work It is the low ratings for the two aired episodes. {jcomments off}
