BBC America to co-produce next series of Luther

The next series of Luther will be co-produced by BBC America following the success Idris Elba’s best actor win at the Golden Globes awards.

The third series will premier in 2012 on BBC America as part of the channel’s Dramaville strand. The successful crime drama first aired in 2010 and stars Idris Elba who plays the title character DCI John Luther.
