Reports this morning suggest that the winner of this year’s Britain’s Got Talent will get the chance to ‘perform in space’.

Reports this morning suggest that the winner of this year’s Britain’s Got Talent will get the chance to ‘perform in space’. The report comes after the announcement in December that Virgin Media will be sponsoring BGT this year. Simon Cowell is alleged to have said:  “We are trying to work out a way so that the winner of the show gets to go up in the spacecraft and will be the first person to perform in space.”

The auditions for the talent show are due to kick-off tomorrow with Cowell returning for the audition stage along with Amanda Holden. David Walliams and Alesha Dixon will join the panel for the first time after they replaced Michael McIntyre and David Hasselhoff.
