Samantha Womack and Myleene Klass are reportedly being lined up as guest judges on forthcoming auditions for Britain’s Got Talent in London.
A report in The Mirror claims that the two could be hired as temporary ‘guest’ judges for the ITV series as auditions for the forthcoming new season continue. The tabloid claims that either could step in when auditions are held in London in early February. The move would cover the temporary absence of judge Amanda Holden who is currently in hospital.
We always had planned bringing in some special guest judges for when Amanda went off to have the baby,. We are sticking to three judges in Cardiff this weekend but we would like someone in the fourth seat by the time we film in London on February 6. Amanda knows she is welcome back but the show must go on and we need another judge as soon as possible.” – A “source” quoted by The Mirror
Samantha Womack was one of the names tipped by the press as being in the running as a judge on Britain’s Got Talent following the departures of David Hasselhoff and Michael McIntyre. Womack’s former EastEnders co-star Barbara Windsor was also tipped as being in the running as were former X Factor judges Cheryl Cole and Dannii Minogue as well as chat-show host Paul ‘OGrady. However, producers opted to hire Alesha Dixon and David Walliams instead. It’s possible that the press will link Cole and Mingoue, especially, with guest stints on Britain’s Got Talent.
