Simon Cowell has stated that none of the X Factor judges are guaranteed to return for the next series.
The most recent series of the ITV talent conquest unveiled a new line-up of judges with Gary Barlow, Tulisa Contostavlos and Kelly Rowland joining the panel with only Louis Walsh returning from previous seasons. Simon Cowell was not involved because of his commitments with the American series of the X Factor while Dannii Minogue and Cheryl Cole were also absent due to other commitments.
The X Factor suffered from a drop in ratings – with BBC One‘s Strictly Come Dancing beating it on several occasions – and from bad publicity especially regarding axed contestant Frankie Cocozza but also over the alleged falling out between judges Kelly Rowland and Tulisa Contostavlos. The Mirror reports that Simon Cowell has now warned that none of the judges are guaranteed to return for the next series. “We have got to look at everyone, the whole show. I don’t know if I will keep the panel the same. I haven’t decided yet.” the tabloid newspaper reports him a saying.
Several tabloid reports have already claimed that Kelly Rowland has quit the X Factor though, at the moment, this has been denied.
