Rick Springfield returning to General Hospital

Rick Springfield is returning to General Hospital for a handful of episodes in March.

Entertainment Weekly report the actor will be bringing his character of Dr. Noah Drake back to Port Charles once more. Springfield will return to the set of the medical drama this month for several episodes which will air in March. The actor last reprised the role in 2008 – he originally took on the role in 1983. His last stint in General Hospital saw his character of Noah leave the city to battle his drinking problems.

The actor is one of several to have been asked back to General Hospital recently. Another returnee due back on screens soon is the British actress Emma Samms who will reprise her role of Holly Sutton Scorpio.
