Showtime orders more Shameless and Californication

Showtime has renewed Shameless, Californication and House of Lies handing out new seasons to all three series’.

Showtime has ordered a third series of Shameless; its comedy drama based on the British series created by Paul Abbott for Channel Four in the UK. The drama, based in Chicago, revolves around the Gallagher family and friends and stars William H. Macy and Emmy Rossum and the second season has been drawing big ratings for Showtime.

The broadcaster has also ordered a second series of House of Lies which stars Kristen Bell and Don Cheadle and a sixth season of Californication which stars David Duchovny.
