Robin Mattson returning to General Hospital

Another familiar face is returning to Port Charles as actress Robin Mattson is the latest former star to be tempted back to ABC‘s General Hospital.

Soap Opera Digest report the actress will reprise her role of Heather Webb in late March/early April. Heather’s return to Port Charles will be tied in with son Steven (Scott Reeves). Mattson was last in General Hospital for a several month stint in 2004 having originally been part of the cast in the 1980s for three years. The actress is the latest former star announced as returning to the soap with others including Emma Samms and Rick Springfield.

Mattson is a soap veteran having appeared in multiple soaps usually as a villainess. Amongst her credits are stints in Santa Barbara, Guiding Light, Ryan’s Hope, All My Children, The Bold and the Beautiful, Days of our Lives and As The World Turns.
