Double elimination for Dancing on Ice

Next week’s edition of Dancing on Ice will see two celebrities sent home in a double elimination twist.

Hosts Phillip Schofield and Christine Bleakley revealed next week’s twist at the end of Sunday night’s edition of the hit ITV series. The two presenters revealed that next Sunday will see the remaining celebrities and their dancing partners face an “Ultimate Skills Test” consisting of 23 elements they must include in their routines.

The three celebrities with the lowest scores, from the combined judges and voting scores, will then have to perform in the skate-off but crucially without their professional partners. The judges will then decide which two celebrities to send home.

Fitness guru Rosemary Conley became the latest celebrity, last night, to be voted off Dancing on Ice joining Charlene Tilton, Corey Feldman, Mark Rhodes, Laila Morse and Andy Akinwolere who have already left. Pop singer Chesney Hawkes was forced to pull out before the series launch because of an injury and was replaced by former X Factor hopeful Chico.
