NCIS leads Tuesday evening ratings for CBS

Mark HarmonNCIS once again led the Tuesday evening ratings for CBS while Courtney Cox comedy Cougar Town returned to ABC with disappointing ratings while Glee on Fox fell to a season low.

At 8pm CBS drama NCIS once again dominated the ratings winning the night in terms of total viewers and those aged between 18-49. The veteran crime drama pulled in 19.4 million viewers with a 3.9 rating – not bad for its 201st episode. Glee on Fox at 8pm dropped to a new season low with 6.8 million viewers and a 2.8 18-49 rating while The Biggest Loser on NBC pulled in 5.8 million viewers and a 2.0 rating. Courtney Cox’s comedy Cougar Town returned to ABC for a new series with a disappointing 4.8 million viewers and a 1.8 rating at 8.30; beforehand Last Man Standing had 7.5 million viewers with a 2.2 rating. Rounding off the hour was a Hart of Dixie repeat on The CW with 700,000 viewers and a lowly 0.3 rating.

At 9pm NCIS: Los Angeles had 16 million viewers with a 3.2 rating, new paranormal drama The River on ABC dropped to 4.9 million viewers with a 1.7 rating while Ringer on The CW still suffered in the ratings with 1 million viewers and a 0.3 rating. New Girl on Fox mustered 6.5 million viewers followed by Raising Hope with 4.6 million and a 2.1 rating. At 10pm Dana Delany drama Body of Proof was seen by 6.1 million viewers, a 1.2 rating, on ABC.
