Lee Mead to appear in Bedlam
Lee Mead is to appear in Sky Living’s supernatural drama Bedlam.
Sky Living recently announced it had commissioned a second season of the supernatural drama after the first aired on the channel last year. It has now been revealed that singer and actor Lee Mead will appear in a guest role during Bedlam‘s new season.
Mead is probably best known for winning Any Dream Will Do in 2007 – Andrew Lloyd Webber’s request to find a new Joseph for his West End musical. The series was one of several similarly themed quests that Andrew Lloyd Webber and the BBC collaborated on.
Although best known for his singing and West End performances Mead has moved more recently into television acting starting with a guest appearance in Casualty last year. The second series of Bedlam will introduce new cast member Lacey Turner with Charlotte Salt and Hugo Speer returning for the second series. Actors Will Young, Theo James and Ashley Madekwe will not be retuning for the new season.
