Gabby Logan leaving Live with Gabby

Presenter Gabby Logan is stepping from her role on Channel Five’s daytime series Live with Gabby.

Broadcast are reporting that Logan has decided to leave the series due to her other commitments – such as her role covering major sports events for the BBC. Logan will leave the Channel Five series in early April. Broadcast reports that a series of guest hosts will replace Gabby Logan, such as Fern Britton, in a similar way as to how Have I Got News For You uses guest presents now instead of a regular one.

The series originally launched as The Wright Stuff Extra with Gabby Logan and was a spin-off from Channel Five’s popular topical debate series The Wright Stuff. However, in September of last year it was re-branded with the more simple name of Live with Gabby.
