Adrian Scarborough to appear in Doctor Who

Doctor WhoTelevision actor Adrian Scarborough will guest star in the seventh season of Doctor Who.

The Radio Times reports that the actor will play a character called Kahler Jex in an episode directed by Saul Metzstein. There are, at present, no further details regarding his character or the episode in general. Scarborough is the latest guest star for the seventh season of Doctor Who to be revealed – already confirmed are Rupert Graves, David Bradley and Mark Williams.

Scarborough can currently be seen as the butler Mr. Pritchard in BBC One drama Upstairs Downstairs which airs on Sunday evenings. The original series was co-created by Jean Marsh who appeared several times, in different roles, in the original series of Doctor Who. Scarborough’s other roles include Cranford, Gavin & Stacey, Psychoville, Vera Drake and Gosford Park.
