Susan Lucci joins Devious Maids

Susan Lucci has signed up for Marc Cherry’s new ABC drama Devious Minds.

Entertainment Weekly reports that Lucci has signed up to appear in Marc Cherry’s forthcoming new drama for ABC, Devious Minds. The new drama revolves around maids with ambitions and dreams of their own who work for the rich and famous – Lucci will play one of the employers of said maids.

Lucci is, of course, best known for playing diva Erica Kane on the daytime soap opera All My Children which came to an end on ABC last September. It was originally hoped the soap would continue online along with sister soap One Life to Live – produced by Prospect Park – but ultimately the plans failed. Since the finale of All My Children the actress has appeared in Army Wives, Hot in Cleveland and it was recently announced she will narrate factual series Deadly Affairs.
