ABC reveals Desperate Housewives finale date

ABC has revealed the finale date for its soapy drama Desperate Housewives.

Viewers will pay their last visit to the residents of Wisteria Lane in May as ABC drama Desperate Housewives bows out after eight seasons. The drama, starring Marcia Cross, Teri Hatcher, Eva Longoria and Felicity Huffman will come to an end on May 13th. Desperate Housewives will end with a special two-hour series finale, ABC has revealed.

There is currently much speculation as to how Marc Cherry, creator of the series, will draw the drama to a close. At the moment few details have been revealed about the finale and producers will seek to keep it that way – preferring the end to be a surprise and not spoiled by the press.
