ITV orders more Endeavour

ITV has ordered a four-part series of Endeavour; it’s Inspector Morse prequel starring Shaun Evans.

It has been reported that ITV has ordered a four-part series of Endeavour following a successful one-off special earlier this year. Endeavour is a prequel to the hugely popular Inspector Morse series which starred the late John Thaw. For the prequel actor Shaun Evans played the detective in his early years: ITV has ordered four 120 minute episodes for the new series

Endeavour was a huge hit with audiences earlier this year with consolidated ratings of over 8 million viewers while the readers of the Radio Times voted overwhelming in support of further episodes being produced. Well now fans of the Inspector Morse series – which also includes spin-off Lewis – will be delighted by the news.
