One Direction for US TV show?

One Direction are rumoured to be getting their own television series in America following their recent success.

The Daily Star reports via a source that the boy band could be getting their own American show following a number of performances and touring with pop group Big Time Rush.

On Monday the boy band performed a number of songs on NBC’s Today Show in front of thousands of screaming girls, some who had camped out over the weekend just to see the band.
