Supernatural drama The Vampire Diaries continues on ITV2 tonight with The Ties That Bind: Bonnie (Kat Graham) continues to have recurring dreams about the coffins and Klaus (Joseph Morgan) which lead to an unexpected reunion.

Bonnie’s (Kat Graham) recurring dreams about Klaus (Joseph Morgan) and the coffins lead her to an unexpected reunion with her mother Abby (Persia White). Bonnie hasn’t seen her mother for 15 years and the reunion between the two is tense as Abby explains why she had to abandon her daughter all those years ago.

Tyler (Michael Trevino) turns to an unexpected source in a bid to break Klaus’ hold over him while the original Vampire continues his resentful negotiations with Stefan (Paul Wesley). Dr. Fell (Torrey DeVitto) has a secret while Stefan continues to interfere in Elena’s (Nina Dobrev) life revealing something that surprises even him.
