The Talk to celebrate The Bold and the Beautiful anniversary

CBS series The Talk is to mark the 25th anniversary of soap opera The Bold and the Beautiful.

The Los Angeles based soap will celebrate its 25th anniversary on Friday 23rd March and to mark the occasion daytime talk show The Talk play host to several of the stars of the soap. CBS Soaps in Depth report that B&B cast memebrs John McCook, Texas Battle, Jacob Young, Katherine Kelly Lang, Heather Tom and Kim Matula will all appear on The Talk on Monday 19th March.

Perhaps ironically The Talk launched on CBS in October 2010 as a replacement for As The World Turns which was cancelled after more than 50 years on-air due to low ratings. Amongst the regular panellists of The Talk are Sharon Osbourne and Sara Gilbert. The Bold and the Beautiful continues to be the second most watched soap in America after sister series The Young and the Restless. It is, however, the most watched daytime soap in the world with an estimated audience of 30 million viewers across the globe with fans as far as field away as Australia and Italy.
