Gary Barlow signs new X Factor deal

Gary BarlowGary Barlow has reportedly signed a new deal to return for the next series of the X Factor.

The Sun reports that the Take That singer and song-writer will be returning for the next series. The tabloid paper reports that Barlow informed ITV of his decision to return as a judge during negotiations earlier this week.

‘Everyone was delighted Gary agreed to come back for another series of X Factor. There’s no ink on the contract, but he’s good for his word.’ A source speaking to the tabloid.

The Sun reports though that Barlow’s commitment to the X Factor clashes with the due date of his new baby with wife Dawn. ‘He was being a bit sheepish about his decision though because the diary has kicked up some problems. Gary has promised he’ll be present for the birth, but Simon Cowell is a tough task master. It could be very tricky.’ The ‘source’ told The Sun.

It is expected that Barlow’s fellow X Factor judges Louis Walsh (the last remaining judge of the original line-up) and Tulisa Contostavlos will return for the next series. A question mark still hangs over the participation of Kelly Rowland though with conflicting reports over her future with the series.
