Martina Navratilova exits Dancing with the Stars

Martina Navratilova became the first celebrity to be voted off ABC‘s Dancing with the Stars last night.

Navratilova was the first celebrity of the 14th season of Dancing with the Stars to waltz off the dance-floor as she was voted off. Navratilova looked a likely candidate for being voted off after her performance didn’t gain her high scores from the judges.

Navratilova was open about how she “blew” her performance on Monday evening’s main DWTS show telling the Hollywood Reporter ‘I just blew it. I was so anxious about my first fast-kicks that I went into them too fast and then I got lost. I rehearsed well with all three dances. This week I felt much less nervous and ready to go’ Navratilova added ‘I just wish that it had lasted longer’ upon hearing the news that she was first to leave Dancing with the Stars.

Other celebrities competing in the 14th season of Dancing with the Stars include Jack Wagner, Katherine Jenkins and Melissa Gilbert.
