NCIS dominates Tuesday evening ratings

MarK HarmonCrime drama NCIS continued its dominance of Tuesday evenings but spin-off NCIS: Los Angeles was beaten by Dancing with the Stars.

NCIS continued its ratings dominance of Tuesday evenings for CBS last night withy 18.2 million viewers tuning in for the latest episode of the crime drama. NCIS won the hour comfortably in terms of total viewers and 18-49 viewers with a 3.4 rating. The Biggest Loser on NBC had 5.6 million viewers with a 1.9 rating between 8pm and 10pm. Dancing with the Stars recap at 8pm on ABC pulled in 10.4 million viewers with a 1.9 rating while Raising Hope on Fox had 3.7 million viewers with a 1.5 rating. Teen drama 90210 on The CW pulled in 1.3 million viewers.

At 9pm NCIS: Los Angeles was beaten by the Dancing with the Stars results show in which Martina Navratilova became the first celebrity to be voted off the 14th season. The results show had 15.3 million viewers with a 3.0 rating. NCIS: Los Angeles wasn’t far behind though with 14.6 million viewers and a 2.9 rating. Fox comedy New Girl pulled in 4.8 million viewers with a 2.5 rating followed by Breaking In with 2.8 million viewers and a 1.4 rating – heading straight for cancellation once more. Ringer on The CW limped on with 1 million viewers and a 0.5 rating; the Sarah Michelle Gellar drama looks a dead cert for cancellation now.

At 10pm Dana Delany drama Body of Proof continued on ABC with 9.9 million viewers with a 2.1 rating which in terms of 18-49 viewers put it ahead of Unforgettable on CBS which had a 2.0 rating but had slightly more viewers overall with 10.4 million.
