Alistair Campbell to present Have I Got News For You

Damien Lewis and Alistair Campbell are amongst the guest presenters announced for the new series of Have I Got News For You.

The topical – and often hilarious – news quiz returns for a new series on BBC One on Friday 13th April and several of the guest presenters have for the new run have already been announced. Damien Lewis, Jo Brand and Jeremy Clarkson will all return to the presenters chair once more having presented previous episodes of the series.

Alistair Campbell will also be amongst the guest presenters of the new series. It’s fair to say Campbell will likely get a rough ride from team captains Paul Merton and Ian Hislop regardless of whether the former spin Doctor has been in the headlines or not at the time. Stephen Mangan, who recently appeared in BBC Four’s Dirk Gently, will also chair an episode as will Alexander Armstrong.

Have I Got News For You will return to BBC One on Friday 13th April and run till Friday 8th June.
