Jacqueline MacInnes Wood lands Arrow role

Soap actress Jacqueline MacInnes Wood has landed a role in CW pilot Arrow.

The actress plays Steffy Forrester in CBS daytime soap The Bold and the Beautiful but has landed a role in The CW’s forthcoming superhero pilot Arrow based on the DC Comics character Green Arrow. The actress will appear in the pilot via flashbacks according to reports playing the sister of Dinah (Katie Cassidy).

MacInnes Wood role in the pilot doesn’t mean she will be leaving The Bold and the Beautiful. The actress took to Twitter to reassure her followers writing ‘For everyone who has been asking if I am leaving B&B, don’t worry I am not’. Last year the actress took time out of B&B to play Olivia Castle in Final Destination 5.

Arrow stars Vampire Diaries/Dante’s Cove actor Stephen Amell in the title role with Katie Cassidy as his love interest. General Hospital/Charlie’s Angels actress Annie Ilonzeh also stars in the pilot.
