Florencia Lozano to join General Hospital

Actress Florencia Lozano is to join ABC soap General Hospital continuing her role of Tea Delgado from defunct soap One Life to Live.

Another character is making the journey from Llanview to Port Charles as actress Florencia Lozano has announced she will be appearing in medical soap General Hospital. The actress is not the first to crossover to the medical soap in the same role she played in the now ended daytime soap One Life to Live – several former co-stars have done the same in recent months.

Details about Lozano’s appearance in General Hospital are sketchy at present but she will first appear in May around the same time that Roger Howarth returns as Todd Manning. Lozano first played the role of Tea in One Life to Live from 1997 to 2000 when she exited the daytime soap but return for a short stint in 2002. The actress rejoined the cast of the soap in 2008 and remained in the cast until its finale in January. It’s unclear how many episodes/how long Lozano will appear in General Hospital.

In related General Hospital news it has been announced that Finola Hughes has signed a contract to remain with the soap. The actress returned earlier this year as Anna in a recurring basis but will now remain as part of the cast. Finola has played the character in General Hospital as well as spin-off Night Shift and fellow soap All My Children.
